Hey guys i'm back from the unknown chey hehes ;)
Just recently went for TCP Camp which occurred from
Monday to Wednesday, and i must say,
it's a really inspiring camp.
Quoting one of my friend's tweets, it's certainly not "life-changing"
(what Bart said),
but it fuels those little steps into making improvements and
changes in your life. (what i'm saying)
I've felt really pure and warm inside after the camp,
like the very day itself and the next day.
Of course now i feel like i'm back to normal,
but that's because i'm the kind of person that needs reminders to
appreciate the little things in life.
Also, the words of the mentors reassured me.
I was always kinda worried that i wouldn't be able to get the right one,
or be with the right person.
Like i was some #foreveralone person who'd be a widow with 69 cats or something.
People see me as a single woman, like they can see that i can still be single and live my life,
and i was worried about that,
because i do want somebody to love, and somebody to love me of course.
So what they said was so true, and so reassuring.
Basically the summary of it is that we have and should enjoy our singlehood first,
do what we want, achieve our goals, do every independent thing alone.
So that when we're finally prepared to be in a relationship, that person will come 'poking' us
while we're running on a single path.
That way, we leave no strings still attached to singlehood and
we would be prepared to commit ourselves to our partner ;))
And that's what i've been doing all these time.
Living a single life, telling myself that the right person will come.
Reminding myself, "It will come when it comes."
And at least now, i know there're other people who're living their lives just
like the way i'm living mine and i'm assured that we're all supporting each other ;))
Cuz,
"If it's meant to be, it will be." ;DDD
There're things that occurred after camp, and i still am grateful for them.
And now, everytime when i look at Facebook,
at the pictures that were taken during TCP,
i just feel warm and fuzzy inside all over again.
I'm glad that pictures help me to be grateful for the existence of these mentors
because they're like, the kindest people in the world,
just coming all the way here, to host 11 camps, FOR FREE.
Voluntary work. (of course i know they still get some money FOR SURE,
but the thought of it, it's just...nearly impossible.
Like how do they do it?
What made them go for it?
We have sibling/cousin mentors coming here together and omg i just feel
so appreciative of them ;')
Okay now i'm really glad that our emotions turn into overdrive
when it's late at night ;)
I'm feeling even more grateful now <3 font="font">3>
Alright so after the camp, i had my last 2 days of work, and
of course i appreciated it as well.
I really didn't wanna go for the last day since i was having full shift,
but i still went anyways cuz i wanted to be done with this and move on.
During work, Arif told me that i'm one of the best/better one among the temp staff,
and i was pretty happy about that, since it was just a random remark.
And then later at night, after closing, we had our mini meetings as usual.
Evan of course explained that there's nothing personal,
and i told her i didn't really get scolded so like they said the same thing
as Arif did and i'm kinda glad ;))
Thanks guys, work might really suck, but i've gained much from the experience and
i've learnt my lesson to really appreciate the retail industry ;))
So today. Today, i woke up at like 11 plus?
And i slept till my mom woke me up again to have lunch.
And then i slept again.
Good life huh? :P
Yeah and we had dinner where i let everybody a share of my food LOL somehow ;)
After that we had a 1-2 hour video call with my sis who was
studying in Korea.
I was kinda happy that we were still talking to her,
like all 4 of us siblings talking together,
it's a nice moment...
I like it ;))
And now of course i'm blogging while my lil daughter Yue Rong's tweet-talking me
i'm pretty sure she'll read this post in time to come LOLOL.
Before i sign off,
i'll just like to share the many songs that i was introduced to during the camp,
and the songs that have rekindled the warmth in my heart. ;))
OVERDUE MOMENTS.
Bill Withers - Lean On Me
Jason Mraz - I Won't Give Up
Corrinne Bailey Rae - Put Your Records On
(Elle, the Filipino mentor did an ASTOUNDING cover of this i loved it man i swear ;') )
Corrinne Bailey Rae - Like A Star
(Elle did a cover for this too loved it as well <3 font="font">3>
So moral of the story?
Love everyone, cherish what you've got,
and don't give up on life. ;))
And of course, the right person will come right rolling into your life once you're ready
and up for it. >;))
